MISSION
The integration test engineer is in charge of integration external test and non-regression test for Alcatel-Lucent terminals, in order to ensure the software quality before the entry of validation test.
He/she must continuously improve its technological expertise, as well as make propositions for improvements on technologies, methods, tools and processes.
As member of a Software team, he/she works with a high team spirit and sharing capabilities. The integration test engineer reports to the team leader.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Setup and maintain test platform for software integration and system test.
2. Build and update integration test case and plan based on deep understanding on requirement, feature, software external specification and design.
3. Design and write test script to test new features and verify fault report corrections delivered by development team.
4. Run test campaign automatically or manually based on testing script and write test report.
5. Find bugs in software, submit fault report and describe all necessary information in detail.
6. Help developer to re-produce problem in different environment and even help to analyze the problem.
7. Maintain and develop integration test tools
QUALIFICATIONS
Mandatory
Bachelor degree or above on telecom, computer or related
Good experience in software test design and execution
Test experience in telephone, mobile phone or other kinds of terminals or telecom products is preferred.
Good knowledge of VoIP protocol (SIP) and experience with one or more additional technical subjects is a plus: Web App, IP, Security, Audio, Bluetooth…
Familiar with UNIX or Linux test environment, ClearCase, ClearQuest and other test tools
English proficiency in reading and writing, good communication skills
Be Initiative and innovative, can work independently and take responsibility. Show good team spirit.
Nice to have
Experience in software or test tools development (C/C++, Perl, Python)

Software test engineer with at least 2 years experience in software integration test
