Job description
Join Alcatel-lucent enterprise team as a strong, contributing Test Engineer focused on developing the industry's best IP Phones. Candidates must have a proven track record in software test methodology, including: System/Feature Test, Performance test, Stress test, VoIP feature interaction test, SIP call-flow test and regression test. Candidate must have strong teamwork, communication, and documentation skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Review Product Requirements Document, SW Functional and Design Specifications, and other relevant documentation to extract detailed test cases and provide additional requirements for testability
- Develop/review comprehensive test strategies, test spec, test cases. And execute test cases
- Plan regression strategy and perform regressions
- Support the design team by debugging issues; isolating root cause of issues and partnering with design/development team on problem resolution.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Experience with Unix/Linux and Windows
* Experience with ClearQuest or ClearDDTS.
* Experience with: DHCP, DNS, TFTP/HTTP/HTTPS, SIP, RTP, sRTP,
* Good knowledge of /TCP/IP/VLAN.
* Broad knowledge of IP network protocols and network design including router and switch configuration.
* Working Experiences with web service application is a strong plus
* at least 2+ years of software development or test experiences preferably in internetworking and VoIP technologies, applications and devices.
* BS in CS/EE or equivalent, with Master's Degree or above preferred.
